Specifications and User Guide
TROUBLESHOOTING
On a Mac or Windows Computer
Graphical Analysis/Graphical Analysis Pro and Logger Lite – LabQuest Stream must be connected via USB. It will not work via Bluetooth.
Logger Pro – Start by connecting Stream by USB to your computer. For Bluetooth, you must pair LabQuest Stream to your computer via Bluetooth in the OS settings before you can wirelessly connect to the device in Logger Pro. macOS 11 and newer do not support Bluetooth connection to Logger Pro.
On a Chromebook
Graphical Analysis/Graphical Analysis Pro – LabQuest Stream must be connected via USB. It will not work via Bluetooth. The Chromebook must be running the app from the Chrome Web Store. The Google Play version will not connect sensors on Chromebooks.
On an Android or iOS Phone or Tablet
Graphical Analysis/Graphical Analysis Pro – LabQuest Stream can only connect via wireless Bluetooth connection. It will not work via USB. Do not pair the LabQuest Steam in the mobile device settings. Doing so will prevent the Graphical Analysis app from connecting to the LabQuest Stream.
-Primary Test: The first thing to check is if the LabQuest Stream has been paired in a device’s operating system settings. If it is, un-pair in the OS settings. Pairing in the OS is only needed when using Logger Pro software on a Mac or Windows computer.
-Secondary Test: Turn the LabQuest Stream off using the power button, then turn it back on. This will break any Bluetooth connections it already made, and it should make sure the device is available for a new connection.
TIPS:
-If you have devices with USB C connectors, we have seen a fair number of unreliable USB-C adapters. We recommend using USB C cables that you know work. You can get these at most electronics stores, or you can purchase a cable from us. Mini USB-C Cable (CB-USB-C-MINI)
