The Cart Fan (DTS-CFAN) mounting plate arrives with four captive screws pre-installed. These captive screws are used for attaching the mounting plate to a Go Direct Sensor Cart. If you will be using the Cart Fan with a teal, plastic, standard cart or grey, plastic, plunger cart from our Dynamics Cart and Track System (DTS), you’ll use the three optional screws included with the mounting plate.
To install the mounting plate on a DTS cart, do the following:
- Remove the four captive screws from the mounting plate.
- Verify that the force sensor screws – used to hold the Dual-Range Force Sensor (DFS-BTA) or Go Direct® Force and Acceleration Sensor (GDX-FOR) in place when mounted to the cart – are in the DFS position.
- Use the half-inch 1/4″-20 screw to connect the mounting plate to the WDSS hole on the cart top.
- Use the two half-inch 10-32 screws to connect the mounting plate to the Low-g Accelerometer holes on the cart top.
