No! The Cart Fan (DTS-CFAN) is only compatible with our Go Direct® Sensor Cart (GDX-CART-G) and Dynamics Cart and Track System (DTS) carts. The Cart Fan mounting plate comes with 4 captive screws to attach it to a Sensor Cart. It also ships with a small bag of 3 loose screws that can be used to attach it to a DTS cart.
We replaced the Vernier Dynamics System (VDS) with the Dynamics Cart and Track System (DTS) in 2016. The older VDS carts are green and aluminum; the newer DTS carts are plastic. For more details, see Which model dynamics cart do I have?
In the future, we plan to post a 3D-printable base plate that would allow the Cart Fan on a older, metal Vernier Dynamics System cart. But we do not have one yet.
