The Digital Control Unit Power Output Kit (DCU-POP) is a great starter set of output devices for use with the Digital Control Unit (DCU-BTD). The kit includes several output devices, including a motor, LEDs, incandescent light bulbs, and connecting wires.

Most components will require external power to operate. The DCU is designed to accept LabQuest^® Power Supply (LQ3-PS) and Power Supply for LabPro, WDSS, and Stir Station (IPS) as external power supplies. Third party power supplies must be either 3.3 mm center-positive or 5.5 mm center-negative barrel connectors.

NOTE: When connecting an LED to the DCU, it is important to wire a current-limiting resistor in series with the LED to avoid damaging the LED.
