Yes. To make a map of data collected with Vernier sensors using Google My Maps, follow these steps.

1. Begin with a file that has columns of latitude, longitude, site names, and sensor data.
2. Export the file as a csv (comma separated values) to a known location such as your Google Drive or computer desktop. This option can be found under File in Logger Pro and Graphical Analysis. If your data are in LabQuest, move the file to a computer first. How do I move data from a LabQuest to a computer?
4. Open a web browser and navigate to https://mymaps.google.com. You’ll need to supply your google credentials if you are not logged in.
5. Click the CREATE A NEW MAP button and a new map with an untitled layer will be created.
6. Click on Import under the Untitled layer. Drag and drop your CSV file into the box provided or choose “Select a file from your computer.”
7. Follow the prompts to identify which columns contain latitude, longitude, and place marks (site names).
8. Select Finish. Your data will then be displayed in a new custom map.

Clicking on a marker will display the data associated with that marker. If the title of each column is so long that it cuts off the important information, open the csv file in a text editor or Excel and shorten the column names. Repeat Steps 4-8.

This map is now associated with your Google account. You can change the base map, add other layers, and share it with other people. You can also attach pictures and edit the data associated with a marker.
