The experiment file named “Structures Comparison” (found in the Probes SensorsStructures and Materials Tester) requires two mass values to be entered into Logger Pro data table. The column marked Ms(g) requires the mass of the structure in grams and the column labeled Mt(g) requires the mass of the tackle in grams.
These data are required to calculate the efficiency. This should be done before data is collected.
Note that if the tackle is supported by the force sensor/load cell (such as when using a rod and plate for tackle) the Mt value entered should be “0”, as it does not add to the force applied to the structure.
