Pressure Sensor 400 (PS400-BTA)
Specifications and User Guide
TROUBLESHOOTING
-Primary Test: Connect the sensor to a Vernier interface and run the data-collection program. The units for the default readings are kPa and they should be reasonable for the altitude at which the sensor is being used (around 101 kPa at sea-level). If you plug the output with your finger, the pressure should rise slightly (~5 kPa).
-Minimum software version: Logger Pro 3.10.1, LabQuest App 2.6

CALIBRATION
The Pressure Sensor is calibrated to atmospheric pressure in Portland, Oregon before shipping. You may wish to recalibrate with the atmosphere of your region by doing a one-point calibration.
1. Connect the Pressure Sensor 400 to an interface and launch the software.
2. Initiate the calibration procedure and make sure the one-point calibration option is checked. This should be the default option.
3. Enter the known calibration value in the Reading 1 box.
4. Once the readings in the input field stop changing significantly, click Keep to record the input value. After Keep is selected, a new calibration is created. The calibration is added to the list of available calibrations and it is marked as Not Saved. This new calibration becomes the current calibration for the sensor.
5. If you want to use the calibration for the current session only, click Done to complete the calibration process. To save the calibration onto the sensor, click the storage tab and save it to the sensor.
