Yes, the force sensor on the VSMT will auto-ID with SensorDAQ and LabVIEW. The displacement sensor will work with some creativity:

1. In LabVIEW, choose Find Example from the Help menu.
2. Scroll to Vernier, then SensorDAQ LabView, then Rotary Motion, and open DAQmx_RotaryMotion.vi.
3. Modify this VI as follows:
-Set the two numeric inputs to the CI Angular Encoder to 16.
-Set the counter type input to the same block to Two Pulse Counting.
-On the front panel view, select radians as the units.
-Multiply the output from this entire example by a value that converts 2 pi radians of rotation to 1/16 of an inch of vertical travel (the pitch of the threaded rod attached to the displacement sensor).
