To determine whether your CO2 Gas Sensor (CO2-BTA) is the current model or an earlier one, compare your sensor to the images below.
- Sensors sold from June of 2023 are black with a rounded top. The label is red with white lettering.
- Sensors sold from May 2007 to May of 2023 have a round top, and are black with a black label with white lettering. Two red o-rings frame the label.
- Sensors sold before April 2007 are rectangular in shape with a sensor shaft extending from the box. They are black with a white label with teal lettering.

All three of the models above use the white BTA connector and auto-identify when connected to a functional interface. An even earlier version of the older style used a 5-pin DIN connector, and did not include the auto-ID feature. The DIN model has not been sold since the late ’90’s.
