No! The Motion Encoder is NOT compatible with a Lab Cradle.

Connecting a Motion Encoder Cart Receiver (MEC-BTD) to a TI-Nspire Lab Cradle (TI-NSLABC) will put the Lab Cradle into a diagnostics mode that can not be recovered without returning the Lab Cradle to Texas Instruments for repair or replacement. If you get into this situation, contact TI for further assistance.

Note: You can identify a Lab Cradle that is in this condition by pressing the Lab Cradle reset button. If the two Lab Cradle LEDs alternately flash red, the Lab Cradle needs repair.
