The following options are available when collecting absorbance data: to display a full color backdrop, to display a thin strip of color along the X-axis, and to display no color on the graph. The default is the full color backdrop in Absorbance or %Transmittance mode. The default in Intensity mode is no color.
In LabQuest App
Original LabQuest or LabQuest 2
Double tap on the graph and the backdrop will change to the thin strip. Double tap on the thin strip to change back to the full backdrop. To choose between color and no color, choose Show Graph from the Graph menu. The final option listed is called Show Spectrum. For this option, a checked box will give you color and an unchecked box will give you no color.
LabQuest 3
Choose Show Graph from the Graph Menu and select the Show Spectrum options. Use the menu options to show the background, and to select full screen or narrow strip.
In Logger Pro 3
You have 3 options: To choose between a full color backdrop and a thin strip of color, choose File > Preferences. In the Application Preferences dialog box, under Presentation, you will see an option called Graph Spectrum as Narrow Strip. Check the box to choose this option.
To choose between color and no color, place your cursor anywhere on the graph itself and double click. The Graph Options dialog box will appear. Under Appearance, you will see an option called Draw Visible Spectrum (Wavelength Graphs). For this option, a checked box will give you color, and an unchecked box will give you no color.
In Spectral Analysis
The only option is the rainbow strip. Future versions of the software may support full background and no background.
