Many people want use our software without having to install it on the computer they are sitting at. This can be because IT policies don’t allow them to install software or can be a way to save time. If you are using a computer or Chromebook running an up-to-date Chrome browser, you can. Our suite of Analysis apps have Progress Web App versions that don’t require installation.

Progressive Web Apps (PWA)

To access the PWA version of an app, open a new tab in your Chrome browser and enter the URL noted below.

Note: Vernier Video Analysis is a for-purchase app and requires a valid license key to use the app.

Installing to a USB Flash Drive

Generally, this option is not supported. Our data collection software, including the installed versions of the PWA apps noted above, Logger Pro, and Logger Lite, require drivers to communicate with the hardware. Without those drivers installed, the programs can crash or give error messages.
