A full spectrum is taken in order to identify the wavelength for analysis. If you already know the wavelength for analysis, then a full spectrum is not necessary. This can be set up in both LabQuest App and Logger Pro.

Logger Pro
Click on Configure Spectrometer
Choose either Absorbance vs Time (kinetics) or Absorbance vs Concentration (Beer’s law).
Check the box corresponding to the wavelength for your analysis.
Click OK.

LabQuest App
Tap on Mode and change to Time Based (kinetics) or Events with Entry (Beer’s law). Tap OK.
Tap on the meter box and choose Change Wavelength.
Type in the wavelength for your analysis. Tap OK.

Spectral Analysis App
From the opening screen, choose the appropriate experiment.
