Some of our sensors include a cable or cord, and it is tempting to wrap it around the sensor for storage. In a short time, the strain applied by this bending and twisting can damage the strain relief of the cord, and sometimes render the sensor unusable. Examples of the recommended method of cord storage and how not to wrap the cord are shown below.

Velcro Reusable Ties are readily available office supply and hardware outlets. Standard dimensions are 1/2″ X 8″ and they are available in packets of 50 to 100 for less than $10.
