Some Go Direct devices, such as Go Direct® Soil Moisture Sensor (GDX-SM) and Go Direct® Salinity Sensor (GDX-SAL) have a single on-board sensor, whereas Go Direct® Acceleration Sensor (GDX-ACC) has a 3-axis acceleration sensor with two acceleration ranges, plus an altimeter, a 3-axis gyroscope, and a sensor channel which measures the angle of the sensor’s long axis. Go Direct® Weather System (GDX-WTHR) has sensor channels used to measure ambient temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind chill, dew point, barometric pressure, and more. When configuring a remote data logging experiment, it is possible to collect data from one, or multiple, sensor channels.
Steps to configure multiple channels for a remote data logging experiment
- Launch Graphical Analysis and connect your Go Direct sensor.
For detailed instructions for connecting the sensor to the Graphical Analysis app, refer to Getting Started with Go Direct Sensors.
- Click or tap Sensor Setup,
, to display the Sensors box.

- Click or tap SENSOR CHANNELS to select the sensor channels needed for your experiment.

- Start your remote data logging experiment.
