Troubleshooting

  • Primary Test: Connect the sensor and run the data-collection program. Hold the tip of the sensor in your hand and check for the temperature readings to change.
  • Secondary Test: Connect the sensor and run the data-collection program. Place the probe into an ice-water bath and/or place it into a boiling-water (or hot-water) bath.

Calibration

Calibrate? Never. Each unit is individually calibrated, and the calibration is stored on a smart chip in the sensor.
