This information pertains to LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3.
The original LabQuest does not support this functionality.
If your LabQuest 2 or LabQuest 3 is not successfully sending emails, you can instead save the same files directly to a USB flash drive. The saved files are the same files you would get when emailing them directly from your LabQuest.
Sending a Graph or Screenshot
- Open your saved experiment file that has the data you are trying to send.
- Connect a USB flash drive to your LabQuest.
- Choose Print from the File menu and select the item you want to print (Graph, Table, etc.).
- Select the Print to PDF option.
- Update the header and footer information as desired then tap Print.
- Take your flash drive to a computer with access to email and send the files.
Sending a Data File
- Open your saved experiment file that has the data you are trying to send.
- Connect a USB flash drive to your LabQuest.
- Choose Save from the File menu.
- When a USB flash drive is detected, LabQuest should default to saving to the flash drive (The USB flash drive icon should be highlighted)
- Name the file as desired and tap Save.
- Take your flash drive to a computer with access to email and send the files.
Sending a Text File
- Open your saved experiment file that has the data you are trying to send.
- Connect a USB flash drive to your LabQuest.
- Choose Export from the File menu.
- Name the file as desired and tap Save.
- Take your flash drive to a computer with access to email and send the files.
