If the calibration screen in Instrumental Analysis (IA) just spins for minutes and new completes calibration, please try the following:
1. Make sure you are using the latest version of Instrumental Analysis app. If using LabQuest 3, make sure you are using version 3.0.3 or newer. If using LabQuest 2, make sure you are using version 2.8.7 or newer.
2. Press and hold the power button until all the LEDs turn off. Reconnect to IA and then retry calibration.
3. If connected via USB, try connecting via Bluetooth. If connected via Bluetooth, try connecting via USB.
4. Try it on another platform. IA is compatible with Chromebooks, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. Go Direct Polarimeter also works on LabQuest 3 (version 3.0.3 or newer) and LabQuest 2 (version 2.8.8 or newer).
