The Motion Encoder Cart Upgrade Kit is for users of the Vernier Dynamics Cart and Track System and Vernier Dynamics System who want to add Motion Encoder capability. The kit allows the user to upgrade one existing cart to a Motion Encoder Cart and includes the Motion Encoder Receiver and a Motion Encoder Long Track Strip.

One-time assembly requires removing a cart end cap, installing a transmitter unit underneath the cart, and installing a replacement end cap.

The Motion Encoder Long Track Strip can be trimmed to fit the 1.2 m dynamics track.

Compatibility Requirement

Warning: The Motion Encoder Receiver is not compatible with the Texas Instruments TI-Nspire Lab Cradle. Connecting the Receiver to the Lab Cradle will render the Cradle inoperative, requiring repair by Texas Instruments.
