Students can begin exploring code right out the box with the user-friendly Codey Rocky. Its two-in-one construction allows students to program in ways not allowed with a traditional robot. Codey, the detachable controller, includes over 10 electronic modules and can be coded to function in a variety of ways. While Rocky, the wheeled cradle, gives Codey the mobility to go anywhere.
Each Codey Rocky features the following
- Fully loaded: Codey Rocky includes a built-in IR transmitter/receiver, LED Display, 6-axis Gyroscope, RGB Status Indicator, Speaker, and Light/Voice sensor allows students to create a wide range of programs.
- Expressive LED: Codey’s LED display that can be coded to display customized expressions, the time, weather, or personalized messages.
- Drag-and-drop graphical programming: Free mBlock software is based on the popular Scratch software and provides young students a quick way to learn to code.
- Wireless Upload: Optional Makeblock Bluetooth dongle lets you wirelessly upload code to your robot from your computer. If you do not have a dongle, you can use a USB cable to upload code.
