This information pertains to LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3.
The original LabQuest does not support this functionality.
The LabQuest Camera App supports USB cameras that use Universal Video Class (UVC) drivers. Standard USB cameras that uses a UVC driver should work with the Camera App.
Cameras that support HD quality video may not work as expected with the Camera App. This is because the Camera App limits the size of the image from any camera to 640 x 480 pixels. This will likely make the image smaller on the LabQuest screen than when used with other platforms. We do not recommend the LabQuest 2 Camera App for use with HD quality digital imagers and cameras for this reason. Cameras that appear to work on LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3 are listed below.

✱ If the LED intensity control is part of the USB cable, the unit is a supported, pre-2018 model. If the LED intensity control is a wheel that is integrated into the body of the microscope, it is an unsupported, newer model.
✝ The newer BD-EDU-100 might work with a LabQuest 3 if you use a powered USB Hub to connect the microscope to the LabQuest 3.
