Below is a thorough list of Vernier equipment that supports AP Physics C: Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism. Since no two physics instructors teach AP physics in exactly the same way, this list may not have everything needed or may include sensors that are not needed in your curriculum. You will want to add or remove items depending on the sensors and equipment you currently have, as well as your preferences and teaching style.

AP Physics C: Mechanics

For each lab station, we recommend the following sensors, accessories, and lab equipment:

The following sensors and accessories would ideally be purchased per lab station, but also work quite well for large group demonstrations. Depending on your budget, you may wish to purchase one per lab station or just one per class:

For AP Physics we recommend purchasing licenses to both Graphical Analysis Pro and Vernier Video Analysis.

The following lab books contain activities appropriate for AP Physics C: Mechanics:

AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism

For each lab station, we recommend the following sensors, accessories, and lab equipment:

*Generally we recommend our Go Direct sensors. However, the data collections rates required for RC and RLC circuit labs are greater than what Go Direct probes can offer. Consequently, for AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, we recommend our LabQuest voltage and current probes.

As with AP Physics C: Mechanics, for AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism we recommend purchasing licenses to both Graphical Analysis Pro and Vernier Video Analysis.

The following lab books contain activities appropriate for AP Physics 2:
