Although Vernier does not offer a waterproof case for LabQuest, there are some options to protect your LabQuest if your class is caught in the rain in the field or to keep your LabQuest protected during water quality sampling in the lab.
Note: These cases are not recommended for underwater sampling or to submerge the LabQuest. If the unit is immersed or gets very wet, permanent damage can result. Such damage is not covered by the LabQuest warranty, even if the following recommendations are used (see My LabQuest unit got very wet, and now it won't turn on. What can I do?). The following recommendations have not been tested for protection against other chemicals.
In Use: SealLine’s E-case
For LabQuest 3 you will want the extra-large size and for LabQuest 2 you will need the medium. You can still interact with the screen of the LabQuest through the transparent plastic material. There are also two external leash points to add a lanyard or other cable to further add protection of dropping the device in water.
In Transit: Pelican Case
Vernier Software and Technology uses these hard cases to transport equipment and supplies across the nation for workshops and conferences. Foam inserts are easy to customize, and these cases also offer protection from dust, water, and provide an airtight transport.
