If your Cart Fan (DTS-CFAN) does not turn on when you press the Start/Stop button, check the following:

  • Does the Cart Fan need to charge? Try plugging it in power. If the charging LED turns on, it is likely that it is just low on battery and needs to charge.
  • Do the Thrust/Duration indicator LEDs flash red when you press the Start/Stop button? If they do, the combination of thrust and duration is such that the Cart Fan does not have enough charge to provide that much power. Either choose a lower thrust or shorter duration.
  • Try pressing the Thrust/Duration Selection button. There was a bug in the firmware of early units that required the Selection button to turn on the Cart Fan.

If you get no lights, either when you press a button or plug in the USB cable, contact Vernier Technical Support for help.
