If a Go Direct sensor is already paired with a device using the device’s Bluetooth settings, attempting to connect the sensor using the Graphical Analysis app will fail. A symptom of this issue is a sensor that connects normally via USB, however, when attempting to connect via Bluetooth, the Bluetooth LED alternately flashes red and green and the connection attempt fails.
To resolve the issue, go into the Bluetooth Settings of the host device (phone, tablet, computer, etc.), find the connected sensor and choose to “Forget” the connection.
If you continue to have trouble connecting your Go Direct sensor to your device, contact us.
Note: the red and green flashing of the Bluetooth LED is also used as an indicator for triggering when the sensor is used for remote data logging. For more information, see
How do I start a remote data logging experiment on a triggering event?
