It is possible to secure objects to the top of the Sensor Cart using the threaded inserts on the top of the cart. (Note: The Cart Fan (DTS-CFAN) is the only accessory we have designed to attach to the carts using these threaded inserts.)
If you insert a screw into the front threads shown above beyond the threading, the screw may interfere with the function of the force sensor — either causing it to register a high force reading, or causing the sensor to respond in a sporadic fashion.
The solution is the ensure that you do not thread a screw beyond the threaded nut, or 0.225 inches.
